Biography
Jonathan G. Blevins concentrates his practice on a wide range of litigation matters in state and federal court, including complex commercial litigation, arbitration, and internal investigations. He has experience managing discovery for complex matters and engaging in extensive motion and appellate practice.
Jonathan also has significant experience representing clients in matters involving commercial, mass tort, and employment actions, including claims involving trade secrets, trademark infringement, fraud, antitrust, and securities, as well as in inquiries from the Department of Justice, the Commodities Futures Trading Commission, and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority involving complex financial products, digital assets, and mergers and acquisitions.
Additionally, Jonathan has notable experience formulating strategies and advising on implementing multi-billion-dollar settlement claims programs for classes of consumers following the resolution of a mass tort action.
Previously, Jonathan served as a law clerk to Hon. Nathaniel M. Gorton at the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts and a judicial intern to Hon. Joan B. Gottschall at the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
During law school, Jonathan served as an executive editor of the Northwestern University Law Review.
Outside the Firm
Jonathan enjoys golfing, cooking, and spending time with his wife and son in Philadelphia’s many parks.
Experience
- Automobile companies, in multi-district litigation centered in the Northern District of California arising out of the companies’ diesel vehicle emissions issue.
- A Japan-headquartered bank, in connection with inquiries from federal agencies relating to record-keeping requirements and interest rate swaps trading conducted in connection with bond issuances.
