Biography
Michael A. Morabito concentrates his practice on the representation of financial institutions, banks, asset managers, credit funds, and portfolio companies across a variety of debt finance matters.
Michael has notable experience representing agents, lenders, and borrowers in acquisition financings; private equity firms, their portfolio companies, and private companies in connection with asset and equity sales to strategic and private equity purchasers, bolt-on acquisitions, preferred equity investments, and mezzanine financings; registered funds in leverage and emergency credit facilities; private investors in connection with the purchase of distressed loans from individual lenders and securitization trusts; and investment banks and other lenders in connection with the purchase of private placements of debt securities.
Prior to joining Blank Rome, Michael served as an associate at a Philadelphia-based law firm.
During law school, Michael served as a senior research assistant and a managing editor of the Moorad Sports Law Journal.
Outside the Firm
Michael enjoys Philadelphia sports, the outdoors, and cooking a variety of cuisine.
